Personally, I don’t agree to give Nicolás Maduro moral or political support. When it has agreed to the President in turn applies the principle of non-intervention and when at his discretion or international pressure, the definition on a subject is required, it has been concluded to express the position of Mexico even if that implies ignoring that principle. The truth is that the constitution itself states that we must ensure respect for human rights and thus we have signed international treaties, in light of the above, without a doubt, the federal government will have to fix its position with clarity: Mexico does not support any military intervention to Venezuela but of course it condemns the violation of human rights that have been denounced by some sectors of the Venezuelan population, demanding a prompt resolution to them, also offering that the solution to this problem is the dialogue through the mediation that our government makes available to the parties. I think that would have to be the diplomatic response to the Venezuelan problem.
